Job description:
Identify, manage and close new sales opportunities
Define the sales strategy including business case, value proposition, revenue model and market positioning
Contribute to the strong growth of ShipServ by meeting aggressive sales targets
Work with the prospects to define the functional requirements and needs
Participate in customer events and conferences as a solution expert
A strong track record in managing/controlling complicated and strategic sales processes at a senior level
Understanding of and experience with negotiation and closing procedures
Being able to understand, communicate, and conceptualize sales of complex services and solutions
Experience of the maritime/shipping sector in particular technical/procurement processes within shipping companies
Existing network of contacts within procurement/technical/senior management within shipping companies will be a clear plus
Strong commercial acumen and strategic analysis skills
Global outlook and preferably international experience
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Additional languages will be an advantage
Outbound presentation and social skills
Self-starter who can work structured and persistent with an ability to analyze problems and adjust approach accordingly in order to create solutions
Results-orientated, able to work individually while being part of effective cross-functional teamwork and collaboration
Extensive travel will be required
